Client Booking & Ride Policy
To provide reliable, professional service to every Gotham Black client, all reservations are subject to the following policies:
1. Reserved Time
When booking an hourly or time-based ride, the client is reserving the vehicle and chauffeur for the specific time period purchased.
If a client chooses not to use all of their reserved time, the unused portion cannot be transferred, credited, or carried over to a future ride or reservation.
For example, if a vehicle is reserved from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and the client ends the service at 11:15 AM, the remaining 45 minutes does not automatically transfer to another booking.
Any extension, credit, or special accommodation must be approved by Gotham Black in advance and is subject to availability.
2. Extending a Reservation
Clients who wish to extend their ride beyond the original reservation time should contact Gotham Black as soon as possible.
Extensions are not guaranteed, as the chauffeur or vehicle may already be scheduled for another client. Additional time may also result in additional charges.
3. Pickup & Waiting Time
Clients should be ready at the agreed pickup time. Excessive waiting may count toward the client’s reserved service period.
For scheduled transfers, additional waiting-time charges may apply when a chauffeur is required to remain beyond the included waiting period.
4. Schedule Changes
Changes to pickup time, location, destination, number of stops, or ride duration should be communicated to Gotham Black as early as possible.
Last-minute changes are subject to chauffeur and vehicle availability and may affect the final price.
5. Additional Stops
Stops that were not included in the original reservation may result in additional charges or additional booked time.
Chauffeurs will accommodate reasonable requests whenever possible without interfering with another scheduled reservation.
6. Passenger Responsibility
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the number of passengers and amount of luggage are appropriate for the vehicle reserved.
Gotham Black may require a different vehicle if passenger or luggage capacity exceeds safe vehicle limits.
7. Vehicle Care
Passengers are expected to treat all Gotham Black affiliate vehicles respectfully. Clients may be responsible for excessive cleaning, damage, smoking-related cleaning, or other costs resulting from damage caused during their reservation.
8. Delays & Traffic
Travel times may be affected by traffic, road closures, weather, security restrictions, construction, or other circumstances outside Gotham Black’s reasonable control.
Clients are encouraged to allow adequate travel time, particularly for airports, meetings, events, and other time-sensitive destinations.
9. Chauffeur & Vehicle Availability
While Gotham Black works to provide the requested vehicle and chauffeur, operational circumstances may occasionally require an equivalent qualifying vehicle or chauffeur substitution.
10. Conduct & Safety
The safety of our clients and chauffeurs comes first. Chauffeurs must follow all applicable traffic and safety laws.
Gotham Black reserves the right to terminate a ride when passenger behavior creates an unsafe, threatening, illegal, or damaging environment.
11. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for personal belongings brought into the vehicle. If an item is left behind, Gotham Black will make reasonable efforts to assist with its return.
12. Booking Acceptance
By confirming and proceeding with a Gotham Black reservation, the client acknowledges and agrees to the applicable booking terms, scheduled service period, pricing, and policies associated with the reservation.

Real Estate Showing & Property Tour Payment Policy
For all real estate showing and property tour bookings, a minimum deposit equal to the first hour of service is required to secure the reservation.
We understand that real estate schedules can change throughout the day. Showings may run longer than expected, additional properties may be added, or the total service time may change.
The first-hour deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the service. Any additional time beyond the initial hour will be calculated and charged after the trip is completed, based on the actual service time.
This policy allows Gotham Black to accommodate changing schedules while ensuring your vehicle and chauffeur are reserved for your requested time.
NYC TLC Compliance
Gotham Black is committed to operating in accordance with applicable New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC) regulations.
For transportation services subject to NYC TLC requirements, Gotham Black works with appropriately licensed drivers, vehicles, affiliates, and/or TLC-licensed bases as required by applicable regulations. Trips requiring dispatch through a licensed base are handled through the appropriate TLC-compliant dispatch structure.
Our goal is to provide clients with professional, reliable transportation while maintaining the licensing, dispatch, vehicle, driver, and recordkeeping standards applicable to the services being provided.
Gotham Black expects all participating affiliates and drivers to maintain all licenses, registrations, insurance, and other credentials required by the jurisdictions in which they operate.
